Colchester Parks & Recreation is excited to offer another series of Movies in the Park this summer! What better way to enjoy a beautiful summer night than to relax in your favorite Colchester Park and enjoy a movie? We'll be showing family-friendly movies (rated either G or PG) on Friday evenings outdoors on our giant screen. We'll be traveling to Bayside Park & Airport Park this August and September (and a Halloween movie in October!). All movies start at dusk (around 8:00 PM) and are FREE and open to the public! Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and bug spray!
This Friday, August 16, we'll be showing the recent Academy Award winner for Best Animated Feature Film, "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" at Bayside Park (beachside, in front of the bathhouse). This stylish animated film set to a modern soundtrack tells the story of teen Miles Morales as he becomes Spider-Man of his reality, crossing his path with five counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities. Featuring the voice talents of Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali and more, "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" is rated PG for frenetic sequences of animated action violence, thematic elements, and mild language.
Free popcorn (courtesy of ACE Hardware) and water will handed out by members of the Colchester Lions Club. Easy as Cake will also be set up and selling some fun, spider-themed baked goods.

• October 19: Casper (at Bayside Park)
