Concert in the Park and Fat Tire Bike Raffle – August 15th , 2019, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
This Thursday is August 15th, the last of this 2019 season's Rotary Club of Waterbury FREE musical concert at the Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Downtown Waterbury. Also, raffle ticket sales.
On August 15th , 6:00pm to 8:30pm "Prydein" will take the stage and perform American Celtic rock. Come join the hundreds of family and friends that will be bringing their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic supper or purchase your supper from a variety of vendors on site. As usual, there will be free ice cream while it lasts. So…come early and shop from the numerous booths set up by the Waterbury Farmer's Market and plan to have your picnic dinner in the park. If there is the need to cancel the concert due to bad weather, a cancellation notice will aired in the afternoon on WDEV-Radio 550.
Win a Fat Tire Bike in the Waterbury Rotary's raffle.
The bike and tickets will be available at the concert in the park this Thursday, August 15th
Tickets can also be bought from any Waterbury Rotary Club Rotarian.
Each year the Waterbury Rotary Club (Waterbury-Duxbury-Moretown) conducts a raffle to support the services we provide to our communities. These services include scholarships, student exchange programs, holiday events, donations to our schools, and support of other local service organizations.
This year's raffle is for a Fat Tire Bike (retail value - $1500) or $1000 cash. Second prize is $300 and third prize is $100. Tickets are $10 each or six tickets for $50. The drawing will be on November 19th, just in time for the winner to try out their bike in the snow.
We'd like to thank Waterbury Sports for providing the Surly fat tire that is being raffled. The winner will get a bike that is the right frame size for their rider.
