Ideas for a farmers market and/or community gathering/market event have been raised. A few people have met a few times to begin discussion. Questions posed are: What do residents need? How can local groups, non-profits and all ages be supported? Who wants to participate? There will be a planning meeting this Tuesday at the Lawrence Memorial Library 6-7 pm for anyone who'd like to brainstorm, add input or simply listen. We'd like to begin a mission statement and identify topics for further discussion. We'd be grateful for diverse perspectives in order to create something useful and enjoyable for many in the community. Please join us!
