An open-house, information exchange meeting will be held at the New Haven Town Hall (70 North Street) on Thursday August 15th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm to engage residents from around the area in planning a designated bicycling route (or routes) that will connect Addison County's three largest civic hubs of Middlebury, Bristol and Vergennes. When completed, the route will provide a safe and enjoyable rider experience, increase connectivity between communities along the route (New Haven, Waltham, Weybridge, Ferrisburgh), and establish a sustainable and valued recreation resource. The format of the meeting will be an open-house so interested individuals can drop in for just a few minutes to learn about the route and share their ideas. Route planners are interested in the perspective of cyclists of all abilities, motorists, walkers and joggers. Families are welcome and encouraged to attend.
