Years before he became the bearded savior of democracy, Abraham Lincoln was young, awkward, and passionately in love. Gary Moore tells this little-known story in his newly-published novel ABE & ANN. As one reader said, "This is a novel that reads like a poem. Or a poem in the form of a novel." This is an invitation to join Gary to celebrate the publication of his novel and hear a few passages from the book, some with musical scoring by keyboardist Fred Wilber.
Fred will perform "The Ballad of Abe and Ann," which Gary wrote with the Brooklyn bluegrass band Cricket Tell The Weather.
