Peacham photos of renowned photojournalist Clemens Kalischer on display at Peacham Historical Association, 153 Church St. Peacham, this Sunday from 2-4. Kalischer's photos from the 1950s and 1960s portray a way of life that was already vanishing, with vivid portraits of elderly couples at home; farmers and tradespeople at work; school children in one-room schools or at play; social gatherings; and much more. Free.
The exhibit will be shown very Sunday until the end of August and from 11-5 on Saturday, August 17, and Thursday, October 4.
