Mayo Healthcare in Northfield is offering the following class, free and open to the public:

Tuesday, August 20th, 4:00-5:30 p.m. The Alzheimer's Association presents "Understanding and Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors." Behavior is one of the primary ways in which people with dementia attempt to communicate their needs and feelings. In this class we will learn how to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the more common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer's Disease.
