The Lake George Partnership, a water quality group which applies for lake wide grants, comprised of officials, environmental organizations and residents, will meet in Bolton Town Hall at 1p August 13. Open to the public.

The Town of Queensbury's Climate Smart Community committee meeting is also open to the public, this coming Tuesday, in the Queensbury Supervisors Conference Room, on August 14 at 10:30 am. Guest Tracy Frisch, chair of the Clean Air Action Network will present current issues related to chemical pollution and clean air in the Greater Glens Falls area.The meeting will include a presentation with HVAC experts on problems related to refrigeration leakage and a discussion of the present area state of recycling and zero waste.
