Come to Big Falls State Park (off River Road in North Troy) on Sunday, August 18th from 11am-2pm and celebrate our rivers with the Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers (UMATR) Wild & Scenic Committee during our annual Wild and Scenic Gathering! Come enjoy this great location and experience wonderful talks and activities: VINS will be joining us with some feathered friends for a presentation about Owls and Their Calls; the NRCS will demonstrate their rainfall simulator trailer; Mr. K will show us how to identify both creepy and cool aquatic insects; enjoy nature walks with experts; food, games, crafts and activities, and access to one of the finest swimming holes (tubes available!) will round out this fun, family-friendly day!
