Huntington's Annual Chicken BBQ and Salad Supper will be held on Sunday, September 8. The outstanding meal features a slow-roasted half chicken, baked beans, fresh dinner roll, pie of homemade pie, beverage and a choice of seven fresh salads, made with local vegetables and fresh herbs. A variety of choices are to be had to suit the needs of all diets and a vegetarian option is available.

The BBQ will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Brewster-Pierce School. Serving begins at 11 am and continues until 2 pm or all are served. $12 Half Chicken Dinner; $9 Salads Dinner; $6.50 Child's Chicken Dinner (under 12 years) Tickets available at the door or reserve your meal by calling 434-4583 or 434-2690.

Takeouts are available. Half chickens for the freezer will be available for $7 and whole pies will be available for $15, beginning at noon.

The proceeds benefit the Friends of the Huntington Public Library, a new nonprofit organized to support the town's municipal library and its activities and programs.
