There will be a Mountain Bike coaching clinic at the Skatepark: Basic Bike Skills on the new Mountain Bike Terrain. Coaches are Jacob Aigeldinger and Billy Cashin, the NVU/Johnson Shred Club leaders who organized the bike and skateboard fun at the July Jam. They'll help everyone get comfortable on the new Terrain.
It's open to all ages, from 9 a.m. to noon, but youth under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Everyone should bring a bike, no matter what kind or what shape it's in. The clinic will include some time at the new Bike Repair stand, and we do have a few loaner bikes available.
Cost is a suggested $5 donation. More details will be posted on the Park's Facebook page, Johnson Skatepark & Bike Track.
You can also sign up at Tuesday Night Live or contact Casey Romero by email, casey@pshift.com. Or email Lisa Crews, the new Johnson Recreation Coordinator. Her email is TOJRecreation@townofjohnson.com.
The forecast is PERFECT! Cooler weather, and no rain. See you at the Park on Sunday.
