Take a walk (bike, scooter, run, etc..) with us to the Dog River Park this Saturday, August 10th. As part of a placemaking demonstration project supported by grant funding from AARP of Vermont, we're testing out a multi-use pedestrian path from the Common down Wall Street to Dog River Park. Meet up on the Common at 12:15 and participate in our pedestrian parade to the park at 12:30. Activities, music, lawn games and free ice cream to follow in the park!
(Heads-up that there is limited parking at the park. You're welcome to join in at any point during the afternoon but if you are able to, please park downtown or walk from home so that you can try out our pedestrian route as well as limit traffic issues along Water Street.)
