Vermont author, Elizabeth Dow, will discuss how to identify historically important documents and artifacts you have in your family and how to preserve them for family history on August 14th at the Greensboro Free Library at 7:00 pm.
Elizabeth (Wiz) Dow, a retired archivist, will speak on how to clean out your attic with confidence so you are not throwing out historically valuable things. She'll give you advice on preserving them and will explain how to donate them to a good repository. After her talk, you will get an understanding of why family history is important and how to prevent its loss.
Come and learn how to clean your attic, garage or basement. Bring your artifacts and be informed. Call Mary Metcalf, Librarian, at 533-2531 for more information.
