Back to School Basics for Caregivers of Transgender and Nonbinary Youth

The new school year is almost upon us and for lots of caregivers of transgender and nonbinary students that means advocating for their needs in a new school, with new teachers, or a new system. Join us to learn about topics like how to help teachers and fellow students adjust to new pronouns, how to change a gender marker in the school information system, how to advocate for inclusive facilities and curricula, and how to connect with school staff about making school a better and safer place. A panel of caregivers who have experience advocating for their youth will share approaches and answer questions.
