Thanks to the townspeople of all ages who attended our first "Puddledock Park Party" of the season. It was a terrific intergenerational event, which is exactly what we are aiming to host. We are especially grateful to Villager's in Downer's Four Corners for providing delicious ice cream, edible bowls and all the toppings.
Each Thursday evening in August and September, starting at 6 pm, there will be a party with a theme, some with music and some with food. Please join us and bring your friends and neighbors. Next Thursday, August 8 is "Lawn Games". We'll have badminton, bocce, croquet, cornhole and anything else you decide to bring.
"Puddledock Park" is an evolving green space next to the Reading Public Library on Rt. 106 in the village of Felchville (aka Reading). Please come and check it out!
With appreciation,
Reading Recreation Commission (Stephen D'Agostino, Kelsey Coyle, Lisa Kaija, Gerry Marletta, Lisa Morrison)
