Come make your voice heard! We are building a 10-year vision for a holistic, integrated mental health system of care in Vermont, and we want your input.
We have held some forums already, but more are coming –
On August 6th, we'll be at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 43 Hebard Hill Rd., Randolph.
On August 13th, we'll be at the Brattleboro Area Middle School, 109 Sunny Acres Road, Brattleboro.
There will be two sessions at each location: Afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or evening from 4:30 PM to 8 PM. (A light dinner will be available in the evening session.)
Please RSVP with the session you will attend (location, afternoon or evening) to: jennifer.rowell@vermont.gov
While it is not necessary to reserve a spot, if space becomes an issue, those who signed up will be let in first. Also, it is helpful for us to have an idea of how many people will attend.
If you have special needs or accommodation requirements, please RSVP at least two weeks before the forum, and include with your response the specific accommodations you require.
Charge and Background: The Department stated its intent to hold these public forums in a recent report to the state legislature: Evaluation of the Overarching Structure for the Delivery of Mental Health Services (pg.2), Required by Act 82, Section 3(c) (2017), Amended by Act 200, Section 9 (2018).
We hope to see you*!
