Greetings,

Materials for August 8 Planning Commission meeting are now available, and files in Adobe Acrobat (*.PDF) format have been posted online at https://goo.gl/Oh9xN6. Once again, the focus of discussion will be the proposed "Form Based Zoning" amendments prepared by consultant Brandy Saxton in December of 2017. That work included:

1. A new layout to improve readability and clarity.
2. Editing for consistency and elimination of redundant material.
3. Revision of section on character districts (which function similar to zoning districts).
4. Revisions to address stormwater, bike/ped facilities, previously developed lots, infill and density calculations, etc.
5. Addition of language pertaining to mobile food vendors, bicycle parking, standards for tree belts and soil volume, etc.
