GROUP SINGING, is underway! The Singing Group will start August 8 at 11:00 AM, Holy Rosary Parish Hall in Richmond. Jenni Jackson, leader and one of our members, has heard from about 18 people, and more are welcome.

Here's Jenni's description: "Do you like to sing? Do you like to spread joy to others? If so, this may be the Senior activity for you!
I founded and directed a group called "Silver Singers" in Dahlonega, Ga. 25 to 35 members strong, we performed at many community facilities in our area. This was year-round, with many musical repertoires. The basic concept is that I have music on CD's and copies of lyrics. You don't need to sing well! All you need is a love for music and a desire to enjoy the company of others. This as a new activity for the Community Senior Center of Huntington, Richmond, Bolton, so all we need to do is get this thing going and start making ourselves and countless others feel the joy of music!" If you are coming on August 8, please bring a loose leaf binder with plastic sheets to hold your music lyrics, and a bottle of room temperature water.
