Have you thought about donating a pint of blood? The drive set for August 7th still has several openings, especially in the mid afternoon. The summer blood supplies are really low. The Richmond Congregational Church will host the next local American Red Cross blood drive on August 7 from Noon to 6PM. Eligible donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or go online to redcrossblood.org for more information and to make a blood donation appointment. Those with appointments are able to help minimize the time it takes to donate. Use RAPIDPASS (http://www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass), a pre-donation & health history questionnaire, to further reduce the wait time. Complete it on line on August 7 before you arrive to donate.
