The Chittenden County Breastfeeding Coalition hosts the BIG LATCH ON! Friday, August 2nd at Sand Hill Park in Essex 9a-12p. The Big Latch On takes place at registered locations around the world, where women gather together to breastfeed and offer peer support to each other. Their friends, family and community join this celebration to promote and support breastfeeding. ALL supporters of breastfeeding are welcome whether currently nursing a little one or not. Registration starts at 9:00am, the actual latch on is at 10:30 sharp! We have an awesome raffle with lots of great prizes! Free ice cream and other yummy treats as well as activities for the kiddos! Swag bags for the first 50 participants!
