As the Addison County School District (ACSD) school board considers school consolidation, a group of concerned citizens has formed to explore options, directions, and constructive responses to the state's pressure for local boards to close their small, outlying schools. We invite citizens and ACSD Board members from all the towns that make up ACSD -- Bridport, Cornwall, Middlebury, Ripton, Salisbury, Shoreham, and Weybridge -- to join the effort. Our next meeting is Tuesday, July 30 at 6:00pm at the Ilsley Public Library meeting room in Middlebury. Join us!
