This Sunday July 28, back by popular demand ,the A CAPPELLA LOLLAPALOOZA groups will perform at 6:30 p.m., rain or shine, at the historic Grand Isle Lake House.
Can you hear voices int eh wind and harmonies in the air? that is the sound of three A Cappella groups practicing, getting ready for their return to the Champlain Islands.
Three away winning groups will share their voices to benefit the Island Arts Scholarship Fund.
Featuring Chordination, Root 7 and the Green Mountain Chorus, a variety styles can be heard including barbershop, doo wow, 50's to present, pop, rock and country. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., so bring your picnic, chair or blanket and enjoy the views and the music that starts at 6:30 p.m. Advance tickets are a available on line at islanders.org for $20 or at Hackett's Orchard and the the Green Frog in South Hero, The Back Chamber in North Hero, the Alburgh Library an the Isle la Motte Country Store. Ages 12 and under are free.
