(*Please see note at bottom of posting regarding meet-up plans.) RiseVT invites you to come along on this free trek with a local expert through meadows, woods and along shorelines, to look carefully for signs and tracks of the various mammals and other wildlife found here. This workshop will emphasize the observation skills required to recognize and read different tracks, travel patterns and other signs provided by many animals.
This is an easy to moderate hike in terms of length and difficulty, with occasional wet or muddy sections, so please dress accordingly and bring sunscreen and bug spray. The event will be led by Paul Brown.
DUE TO LIMITED PARKING AT THE TRAIL, PARTICIPANTS SHOULD PLAN TO MEET AT COLLINS-PERLEY SPORTS COMPLEX BY 9:45 am TO CARPOOL - find us by the RiseVT flag. (This is also important so that the event leader doesn't miss anyone in transition.) Learn more about all our RiseVT Show Up events here: https://fgi.risevt.org/
