If you like high quality baseball, Colchester is hosting the American Legion State Tournament for the first time at Colchester High School this year. American Legion baseball is comprised of premiere high school and first-year college baseball talent. Games start at 8:30, 11:30, 2:30 and 5:30 on Saturday and continue in a double elimination format until the State Championship game on Wednesday. Our Colchester Cannons are entering the tournament as the #1 seed of the northern division with a record of 22-2. Come on out to Saddlemire Field to enjoy a game or two (or three!). Ticket prices are $8 for adults per day and $5 for age 12-17. Under age 12 gets in free. If you want to be part of the action and volunteer a few hours, please contact me for more information.
