The Town of Chittenden will be celebrating Chittenden Day on Saturday, August 24th at Barstow School.
The Bobcat Bolt Fun Run begins at 8:30 am with registration opening at 8:00 am. There will be a parade
beginning at noon traveling along Chittenden Road from Powerhouse Road to the monument at the
base of Mountain Top Road. Please arrive early as the route will be closed to through traffic during the
parade. Opening ceremonies will be at 1:00 pm. The day will include live music from 1:00-6:30 pm,
vendors, food, crafts, old fashioned games, and a silent auction. There will be a chicken barbeque at
5:00 pm. The cost is $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children younger than 12. The Chittenden Public
Library will offer free ice cream after dinner. A fireworks extravaganza will take place at 8:45 pm. For
