As the tree warden of Ludlow,I have become involved in the developing crisis of the emerald ash borer (EAB) which is silently but quite definitely destroying ash trees across the nation - and in VT.
I will hold a meeting of area folks to discuss the nature of the problem and how Ludlow (and surrounding areas) can deal with the coming crisis.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 5 at 10 am in the conference room at Ludlow Town Hall. I hope you'll consider attending this meeting.
If you'd like more information on EAB, try a web site specifically designed for the area at ludloweab.com or call or email me.
This is called a silent crisis - but it will come, the only undecided thing is when (it actually could be here right now).
