This past Monday, the Johnson Community Oven Committee (with help from EVERYONE who participated) fed over 85 people and made over 50 pizzas. We so appreciate all of you and all the new faces we continue to see!

This past week we got a lot of first-timers who didn't know how it worked, so here is a "how-to" to make Monday night Bakes continue to be a success!

- come Monday night around 5:30 with plates, picnic blanket and a topping or two (cheese and sauce are very helpful, too)
- when you arrive, put your topping(s) on the community prepping table (the same table we are stretching the doughs on).
- if you want to make a pizza, grab a peel with a stretched dough from Sophie or Jasmine, then go to the assembly table and start creating!
- pizzas then get passed to whoever is manning the oven that week, and will come out and be put on the community pizza table! Lotty (that's me!) will be at the slice table, so if you have dietary restrictions, are feeding children or a whole family and you want the pizza you made, we can make accommodations and be sure the pizza you prepped gets back to you.
Other than that, we ask that you please take two slices at a time to be sure that everyone gets fed. Please come back for seconds, thirds and fourth servings, but please be considerate of all who come.
