The Richmond Congregational Church will host the next local American Red Cross blood drive on August 7 from Noon to 6PM. Eligible donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or go online to redcrossblood.org for more information and to make a blood donation appointment. Those with appointments are able to help minimize the time it takes to donate. Use RAPIDPASS (http://www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass), a pre-donation & health history questionnaire, to further reduce the wait time. Complete it on line on August 7 before you arrive to donate.

Please remember the need for blood does not take a summer vacation. When searching for a new experience, bring along your high school senior or college age student to help start a new generation of donors. Regular donors can happily share their "helping to save lives" feelings.
