For nearly 20 years, Tom Verner and Janet Fredericks, of Lincoln VT have traveled throughout the world bringing love, laughter, magic, and hope to refugee and orphan children. They have visited 38 countries and performed for more than 1 million children. They also work with groups of children in many countries, training them to become magicians themselves and to share the wonder and hope of magic. Their mission: Entertain, educate, and empower the world's forgotten children through the art of magic.
Come enjoy the magic here at the Bixby to celebrate the Kick Off of their fundraising campaign for their next trip. No obligation to give, just enjoy a free magic show for all ages in the Community Room.
Interested in being part of the Magic? Magicians Without Borders have recently been traveling to the U.S.-Mexico Border performing for children in the detention centers and for thousands of migrants in the shelters along the border. To continue this work responding to the crisis in our own country, they are looking for support. Tom and Janet are planning two more trips to the border over the next few months. Donations may be made at https://www.gofundme.com/f/caetlin039s-campaign-for-magicians-without-borders or at this free event.
If you can't make this show but want to learn more join Tom & Janet for a Presentation on August 1 at the Bixby at 7:30PM.
