You live in the Winooski watershed and are invited! The Friends of the Winooski River will gather at the Cider House in Waterbury (Rte. 2 west of town) on Thursday, March 27. Colin McCaffrey provides the music and the folks at the Cider House serve up a great buffet. It all starts at 5:30 and the speaker is Rob Evans, River Corridor and Floodplain Manager for the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources talking about what Vermont has learned from Tropical Storm Irene.
