Stone Valley Arts Literary Open Mic will be held Friday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill. (145 East Main Street, stone church across from Poultney High School). Poets, Storytellers, Spoken Word Artists in all genres are invited to perform your own original poems, slam pieces, classics, or other favorites. Singer/songwriters are also encouraged to perform. Several of our presenters have recently published new books of stories they previewed at SVA Open Mic! Come to perform, or just to be entertained. Bring a friend and enjoy our new air conditioning! This event is free and open to all. Artist/poet/storyteller Dick Weis will be your host this month.

Bonus, last chance to see an amazing art show! Southwest Vermont Furniture Makers and Artisans working in wood, slate, clay, and fiber. Exhibit is on display in the gallery and can be viewed before, during, and after the open mic.
