All are invited to a presentation about a recent Border Immersion Trip to El Paso, TX, by Jan Steinbauer, member of Good Shepherd Church.

Photos and stories will describe the context of border issues, people without documents, and the border wall – with a particular focus on humanitarian work being done in response to the arrival of the many asylum seekers, and how they are cared for by a network of faith communities and non-profits.

Jan's group visited six and volunteered at two of the 30 shelters from El Paso to Albuquerque NM. Come to learn more about issues and how one might respond with positive actions.
