Tree ID series:
Our brains are hard-wired to recognize repetition in nature -- tap into this ability and learn to identify trees from a pattern-based perspective! Join naturalist and educator Jonathan Shapiro for four classes on patterns of tree identification from many different perspectives: silhouette, leaf characteristics, habitat, bark, branching, and more! Each session consists of a walk through a different diverse forest habitat around the Plainfield area.
