Recently, clergy and church members from area churches established the Eastern Chittenden County Affordable Housing Coalition with our mission being: "We are an interfaith coalition that advocates for affordable housing in our communities by connecting existing resources, organizations, and government. We seek to empower local voices in our towns and villages."

As we begin our work, we invite you to participate in our coalition's meetings and advocacy if you have a passion for affordable housing and we also invite you to share with us your stories, concerns, hopes and dreams. We humans are not meant to live in isolation and, therefore, should not be forced to face our trials and tribulations alone. We want to empower you and work alongside you. Our next meeting August 8th, 6:30pm-8:30pm meets at First Congregational Church of Essex Junction, accessible on Church St.
