History Happens Here, a talk by Glenn Andres will happen Wednesday July 24, 7 p.m. at the Salisbury Congregational Church.

From Salisbury's Ann Story and Gershom Beach onward, Addison County has had a remarkable history of persons and events that have had more than local, in many cases national end even international significance.

In an illustrated lecture Glenn Andres will explore stories of area contributions and contributors and the histories of the likes of politics, education, manufacturing, abolitionism, conservation, and same-sex marriage.
