Accessibility Tour of Downtown Rutland

Past event
Jul 24, 2019, 1 to 3 PM

Join City of Rutland community leaders and spend an hour touring part of downtown Rutland City to get a sense of accessibility issues facing people with disabilities as well as areas where positive improvements have been made. If you don't currently use a wheelchair, you have the option of experiencing the route by using one of the manual wheelchairs that will be available. This event is being organized by the Vermont Center for Independent Living (VCIL) and Disabled Access and Advocacy of the Rutland Area (DAARA). The Tour will begin and end at the VCIL office at 60 Center Street in Rutland.

Light refreshments available. Please contact us before Friday, July 19 if you would like to participate and need a sign language interpreter.
