The campers from the Kids Cook VT summer camp invite community and friends to join them for a pop-up lunch at the Charlotte Congregational Church. The lunch is a "pay as you wish" fundraiser for the Kids Cook VT program. At Kids Cook VT summer camp, kids come together to cook meals for food insecure neighbors and friends. This year we are partnering with the Janet S. Munt Family Room in Burlington, the Charlotte Food Shelf and the Harbor Place in Shelburne. All week the children have been busy cooking many meals for each of these locations. Friday's Pop-Up lunch will include some of the kid's most delicious offerings such as gourmet sandwiches, deviled eggs, chive potato salad, local mixed greens, zucchini bread, and their almost famous Switchel.
