Just a reminder that the Paine Mountain Trail Race is this Saturday, July 13th. Race distances include a 10km and Heavy Half Marathon and Marathon and free kids' 1-miler. It's not too late to register (no registration necessary for the kids race, just show up and register on race day)! Also, there will be a bunch of kids' activities that are free and open to the community. Kids' activities start at 9:30am and are sponsored by the Brown Public Library, Northfield Recreation Committee, Northfield Conservation Commission, and Drift Farmstead Farm and Forest School of Roxbury, VT.

9:30am The Brown Public Library will lead a guided Storywalk®️ of Over in the Meadow. The Storywalk®️ will be available for self-guided walks throughout the day.

10am-1pm Come play with the Northfield Recreation Committee! A variety of games and activities including corn-hole, tic-tac-toe, hula hoops and balls to toss will be available to play with.
10:00-11:00am Join the Northfield Conservation Commission and Drift Farmstead in creating a Community Collage project that will highlight farm and land conservation.
11:30am Registration opens for the free kids' race
12:00 Kids' 1-mile trail race
Please note that these are not drop-off activities. A parent or guardian must be responsible for the child(ren) at all times.
