Girls Can Code Part I

Past event
Jul 11, 2019, 6 to 7:30 PM

Join us at the Spark Space in Greensboro to learn about the history, design, and application of computer coding in the first part of an introductory coding sequence. We will play around with a variety of coding languages and brainstorm ideas for individualized projects. This workshop is a very basic introduction to coding, suitable for individuals who have never coded before.

Participants are welcome to bring a personal computer if they prefer, but plenty of computers will be provided in the space. Let us know if you'll be coming by registering online at https://bit.ly/2LNpvnX or by emailing info@sparkvt.org. This workshop is developed specifically for girls between the ages of 8 - 18, and open to all.

Spark is a project of WonderArts VT, located at 165 Wilson Ave in Greensboro, VT below the GUCC Fellowship Hall, providing access to learning opportunities, high-tech equipment, and technology.
