Public Walk of Catamount Community Forest: Saturday 7/13 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM.

This year the Town of Williston acquired the 380+ acre Catamount Family Outdoor Center to form the new Catamount Community Forest. Join Chittenden County Forester Ethan Tapper, who is currently in the process of drafting a Forest Management Plan for the property, to discuss forests, forest management and forest health at the Catamount Community Forest, and how Vermont's land use history influences the forests that cover our state today. Ethan will also discuss the future of management at the Catamount Community Forest.
