Join Vermont Fish & Wildlife, Deer Biologist Nick Fortin will talk about Vermont's deer population and what happens when we have too many deer. Then county foresters will lead us through VLT-conserved woods where deer have caused serious damage to young trees and other plants. Participants will be introduced to an easy method of monitoring deer impacts. Sponsored by FPR, Vermont Land Trust and Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department.
