Uncommon Folk is a merry little band of friends who have been playing together for 12 years. They play folk; a little bit of bluegrass; toe-tapping, old-time fiddle tunes, original songs & even a sprinkling of country. Their multi-instrumental talents & sweet harmonies weave a magical spell and their stories always keep audiences engaged.
Uncommon folk is Paul Amey on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, viola & vocals; Samantha Amey on upright bass, finger-picking guitar & vocals; and Tom Bishop on frailing style banjo, bass and vocals. They regularly play at First Night in St. Johnsbury, festivals, town halls, town concert series, senior centers, nursing homes and private parties.
Coffee and light refreshments will be available. This event is free but donations are appreciated.
The Burke Mountain Club is located at 368 Vermont Route 114 in the center of East Burke Village.
