Chris Schadler has researched wolves and coyotes for 30 years, and will share her insights on this wild canid. Chris holds a masters in Conservation Biology and provides a unique perspective, as she has also been a sheep farmer. Learn the true story of Eastern Coyotes -- how and when they arrived in New England, how they live among us but are rarely seen, and how they contribute to keep our forests and fields healthy. They are smart, ecologically beneficial, and are dedicated to their family unit.
Despite being one of the most persecuted carnivore in North America, the coyote survives and thrives. This presentation is suitable for all ages.
