'Tunbridge Speaks' on Tuesday About the Civil War
The Civil War will be featured at Tuesday's annual Tunbridge Historical Society oral history program, "Tunbridge Speaks." It will begin at 7:30 p.m. at The Tunbridge Church.
Costumed readers will share letters, diaries and writings from Civil War soldiers and wives. These include new documents from Laurentio Wellington Gould, copies of which were recently given to the society. Copies of "Tunbridge Walks: A Guide to Hiking in Tunbridge, Vermont" will be for sale at $5.
