I'm having a show of drawings and paintings of native plants at the North Branch Nature Center in Montpelier. It'll be up until the end of September, so no rush to get there, but there is an opening event -- on Thursday the 11th from 5:30 - 7 pm. I'll have something to say at 6. You're invited! And, while you are in town, there are three other openings in Montpelier that afternoon and evening: Agathe McQueston's portraits -- sculptures and drawings -- in the Card Room at the State House, Lois Eby's calligraphic paintings at the Supreme Court, and the summer show at the Wood on Barre Street. And in Barre, the three new shows at Studio Place Arts will be opening. A feast!
