There are so many fun things to do in Vermont in the summertime. Here is a special one, right in Charlotte!
Please consider yourself invited to a family-friendly, chamber music concert at the Charlotte Congregational Church on July 14th at 5pm. "Playing for Good", is a group of professional musicians who who have been performing chamber music concerts throughout Chittenden County since 2017. This concert is being played to support Malayka House, an incredible orphanage in Uganda which was founded by Vermonter Robert Fleming.
Here's the scoop: The concert will begin at 5pm and run about an hour. If the weather permits, the concert will be outside in the courtyard at the church. If the weather does not cooperate, we'll have just as much fun in the Vestry. Refreshments will be offered and the doors are open to absolutely all. Admission is free (donations suggested) and all proceeds will support Malayaka House, https://malayakahouse.com/
The afternoon will be rich with music, laughter, appreciation and above all, fun. Learning about Malayaka House never fails to inspire, and knowing how seemingly small actions in our collective Chittenden County community can impact the lives halfway across world is incredibly powerful. Please share this invitation with whomever you think may be interested, and we hope to see you on the 14th!
