0n Friday, July 12th, at 11:30 a.m., folks from Pownal are invited to bring a brown bag lunch and meet the VYCC crew working to create a trail from the hydroelectric plant and then along the berm in the Pownal Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) area. The crew--all young women--will give you a tour and answer your questions about their work. If you need a chair, please bring one.

Park at the Town Garage in North Pownal. Turn west off Rt. 346 onto Dean Road by the old general store at the southern end of North Pownal, and you'll immediately see the Town Garage on your right. Please don't block any doors. Walk down the road toward the WWTF until you see them.
