Restore the Bay 5k Run/Walk
Event: Jul 27, 2019, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
The St Albans Area Watershed Association is sponsoring this family-friendly 5k run/walk designed to build awareness of Lake Champlain and what we can do to help clean up and protect it. It will feature "Raise the Blade" - a lawn mowing campaign everyone with a lawn can participate in to help reduce stormwater runoff to the lake. Meet at St Albans Bay Town Park at 9 AM. At 10 AM shuttles take competitors to the start of the race at Kill Kare State Park. The race begins at 11 AM, with food prizes, and kid-friendly activities available at the finish. Cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children who are running. The 14th Star Homegrown Music Festival takes place immediately following this event at the same location.
