The Foundry in Lyndon Center is a community run non-profit maker space where members can come and work on projects, make prototypes for products and learn from others. Find out how the Foundry's members set up this multi-purpose space that serves tinkerers, inventors, entrepreneurs and crafts people. How is it working? Could a maker space be part of Newport's creative economy? What would you like to see in a maker space? The presentation will be led by a representative of the Foundry. At the 99 Gallery and Center, on School Street in Newport across from the Family Dollar. All welcome.
