2019 Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures Concert Series
Five years ago, 'Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures' was launched to help raise funds for the restoration of The Meeting House which had just been acquired, (and also to support local musicians!). Since then, the Meeting House has become a coveted venue – players and audiences alike are discovering the magic of this small and intimate setting for some of the best music in northern Vermont. Young Tradition Vermont Showcase
YTV (Young Tradition Vermont)'s primary focus is children, youth and young adults and their involvement with traditional music and dance. The mission is to inspire young people, ensure opportunities for them to learn, that they have performing opportunities and to serve their communities, including families with children in life-altering situations. More info about YTV here: www.youngtraditionvermont.org.

Duncan & Stokes
Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist/songwriter Ethan Stokes and fiddler David Duncan. Ethan was a finalist in the 2018 YTV contest and teaches with Mister Chris at Music for Sprouts. David won the contest several years ago with his band Pale Fire. Although childhood acquaintances, Duncan and Stokes began playing music as a duo in the Fall of 2018. They focus on Stokes' original songs, punctuated with traditional Celtic medleys and American folk tunes, for a dynamic blend of soulfulness and energy. www.duncanandstokes.com

Romy & Ben Munkres
Siblings Romy & Ben Munkres live in Cornwall. They have participated in YTV Touring Group tours in Ireland, Cape Breton, Japan, Scotland, and metro New York/New Jersey. They won the 2018 Young Tradition Contest, held in early May each year. Both have participated in Fiddleheads, Trad Camp, showcases and other YTV projects. They have been playing music together and with their parents for the over 8 years, and have participated in school music ensembles, the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association and the McFadden Academy of Irish Dance. They have both participated in Vermont District and All State ensembles.

The Zeichner Trio
Yasi, Oliver, and Louli Zeichner are three siblings who have grown up in the hills of central Vermont. They play traditional Irish and Old-Time/Appalachian music – Louli on 4 and 5 string banjos and Celtic harp, Oliver on penny whistle and uilleann pipes, and Yasi on fiddle and sean nós dance. When they first began playing traditional music, they didn't intend to become a family band. However, in 2012, they became involved with YTV and began to play music at festivals and benefit events across Vermont. Their first gig was at the Tunbridge History Expo, and since then the trio has played at the Burlington International Festival, the New World Festival, the Celebrate Vermont Festival in Stowe, the Big E in Springfield MA, Farmer's Night at the Vermont Statehouse, and for the Irish Ambassador's visit to Vermont in 2018.
